HENRIK NORRTHON
FILMMAKER/DOP
I studied TV and journalism in Stockholm after graduation and started a film collective together with some other colleagues in Malmö.
The first short film was I love Johan, which won 1 km film at the Stockholm Film Festival. Then we recorded the feature film Fjorton Suger which was distributed all over Scandinavia and went to film festivals such as Berlin, Seattle, Toronto, London and Hollywood.
After this I studied film at the London Film School and began work on a documentary about the industrial gas disaster in Bhopal starring Martin Sheen and Mischa Barton and worked on a feature length documentary about Nelson Mandela.
My recent work is for Swedish and Danish TV, but also makes documentaries, television and advertising for production companies and companies in Malmö and Copenhagen and for clients all over Europe.
